meeting specialists
We are doing the last week of four in Gothenburg! Can't wait to go home and STAY home! It is stressful to move back and forth every week!
BUT the boys are doing well and are working real hard! Liam has finally decided not to protest for the whole two hours every day... just during the lying-down program;-)! He is getting stronger, especially neck and back and outside practice he is more communicative!
Max has had two training sessions just for him! It has been great! The conductor (trainer) is working on getting him to realize he has two legs to use! With the right motivation he pushes himself into standing, holding on to a special table! She is also working on his communication and cognition skills. Today she showed him a barking toy dog and a cow, and when asking him to give her the dog, he did... I thought it might be just a lucky move, but when she asked about the cow he picked the right one again:-)!
Last week we went to see a specialist on little kids with neurological problems. Max was really tired when we were there (after playing with her for a while, he just laid down and fell asleep, right there on the mat:-)). She saw that his right side is weaker than his left, but does not think it is hemiplegia... she said he is showing some signs of autism, but that he is too social for that.
Yesterday we met with the doctor here at the training center. Actually, he was supposed to see Liam, but as he had to go to the bathroom right then, the doctor saw Max instead. This doctor is a specialist in genetics, and he did a physical exam and an outline of our family tree... to cut it short, he said it is likely that Robert and I have some disorder on a cromosome that causes a disorder in male babies.
Let's hope this new baby is a girl! A baby boy is likely to get the same disorder!
We have an appointment for a brain scan next week and the genetics doctor is contacting the boys' neurologist and we will do more tests soon!
Max is his normal wonderful self so we are not worried! He is perfect the way he is, as is his brother!!!
This afternoon we went to a play house... Max almost fell asleep on the way over there, but seeing all the kids play and run, he got so excited he forgot how tired he was! We had brought the war pony, and he was sooo fast Robert had to run to keep up with him!!!
Liam enjoyed it, too! I thought it might be too noisy for him, but he was just the happiest kid! He also had his war pony, sorry, I mean his Ferrari!
I forgot the camera cord, so I will update with photos when we get home this weekend!
Now time to sleep to be fit for another day of training tomorrow!!!

Busy times
I feel so bad for not updating more often! I wish I could but time is just rushing by!
Today is Saturday and the whole family is at home! Robert and the boys have been in Gothenburg all week; I was there Sunday-Tuesday, then left to go home to work!
It is so weird to be at home all by myself, it is so quiet and even though I have tons of stuff to do, I don't know what to do when not being busy with the kids:-)!
I had a good week, workwise! I love being back at work! I love the drama, the unexpected and how hard work can turn a story, that didn't seem all that interesting, around to be really good! This week I have done a story on Speedway (a European motorsport, with a kind of motorcycle), an attempted robbery on a Jewellerer, who was robbed in June (http://svtplay.se/v/2172426/smalandsnytt/ranforsok_mot_guldsmedsbutik?cb,a1366518,1,f,-1/pb,a1366516,1,f,-1/pl,v,,2172442/sb,k103341,1,f,-1) and met a local politician, who is leaving Jonkoping to go to Parliament.
Last week was better, more interesting stories, but this was ok!
Robert and the boys had a good week in Gothenburg. Liam is protesting a lot at the training sessions when I'm not there, so next week I'm taking a couple of days off to be there with him!
Max is also in training! One child cancelled the week before training started, so Max is doing exercises in his place:-)! Yesterday, they worked on getting him to crawl. He stood on his arms and knees for about five minutes and started to move his hands, so we hope he will start crawling soon!
Max just woke up! I will finish this later! Love you all!
